HOW TO Report Development Bugs via a Help Ticket



For each individual issue or bug identified during the testing process, please log a ticket using the following steps:

  1. Email Help@Outsource-Consultants.com.
  2. Include the following:
    1. A subject line that starts with: "RPP - "
    2. Describe the scenario & problem. Provide as much detail as possible, even if it seems like overkill.
    3. Provide a link to the page where the issue occurred
    4. Include a screenshot of the issue

Issue Lifecycle
  1. Tim will update the help desk tickets and push to sprints
  2. Tim will close the desk ticket
  3. Tim will order the sprint tasks and assign out to the team
  4. After the work is completed, the assigned tech will do the following:
  5. Document work completed in the task
  6. Change the Status to "TESTING (verifying)"
  7. Tag Tim in a comment
  8. Assign the task to Tim

Tim will test the work completed:
  1. DEFECT - If there's rework, Tim will tag the developer and move the ticket back to waiting status
  2. FIXED DEFECT - If the work was completed satisfactorily, Tim will change the task Status to "DONE (Complete)"
